FAQ
Wondering how it works? Here are the most common questions answered
How does OneAttest work?
- You are required to re-attest every 90 days—even if nothing has changed. OneAttest does it for you automatically.
- OneAttest alerts you when it’s almost time to re-attest. It’s one less thing for you to remember!
- Our service turns a single attestation into many; by completing and signing our surveys you get attestation for all selected sources.

What is required from me as a provider?
Provide the following to OneAttest to ensure your records are compliant:
- Access to required payer/portals
- Timely and accurate updates (including documents)
- Response in a timely manner to attestation surveys sent to your email.
Is it secure?
- Acorn OneAttest keeps your data secure and protected.
- As a SOC 2 type 2 compliant organization, Acorn has been verified by a third-party audit for effective system security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy over a sustained period.
- Information is only shared with the sources you select for services.
How Often Will OneAttest complete my attestations?
OneAttest completes re‑attestation every 90 days, which aligns with federal and state regulatory requirements for provider directory accuracy as well as common payer expectations.
During each 90‑day cycle, OneAttest:
- Reviews and verifies all provider demographic, practice, and affiliation details
- Confirms accuracy against payer-specific provider directory standards
- Updates CAQH profiles with any new or changed information
- Submits required attestations on behalf of the provider or organization
- Documents and stores proof of attestation for audit readiness.
This ensures your directory data and CAQH profile remain current, compliant, and fully optimized for payer credentialing and network participation.
My Provider Directory Information has changed; where do I enter the update?
- Change your information within the OneAttest portal: Click here
What if I need more frequent changes?
- You have full control to access your OneAttest account at any time to make updates. Should you need to make an immediate change with a payer, you can submit the changes directly in the payer portal(s) outside of OneAttests’ 90-day cadence.
- If you make any information changes directly with payers before the 90-day cadence for attestation, please ensure your OneAttest account is also updated.
Selling Information
- We do not sell your data—it is used for your attestation only. Information you upload remains confidential; we will only use it to provide OneAttest services or operate, secure, and improve our platform (or as otherwise permitted by you).
What is the refund policy?
- OneAttest is delivered as a subscription-based service and all purchases are considered final. Access to the platform, features, and associated services begins immediately upon activation; therefore, OneAttest does not offer refunds for any subscriptions, fees, or service charges. All sales final.
Are there more plans and sources you can attest for me?
- Currently, OneAttest services are limited to the following portals and plan
- CAQH
- BCBS of Georgia (Availity)
- Georgia Medicaid - We are always working to grow and offer our services in more states. To request services with a new plan, please reach out to us at Info@acorncredentialing.com
